Information for Interpreters
Last update: 26th March 2021, 11AM AEDT
The Australian COVID-19 Vaccination Rollout is underway.
Based on the Commonwealth Department of Heath’s Vaccine Eligibility Checker, it is our understanding that interpreters who work in Healthcare, Aged Care or Disability Services are eligible to make an appointment to receive the COVID-19 Vaccination under Phase 1B (current phase).
You will need to provide proof of occupation to demonstrate your eligibility before you received the vaccination. This can be any ONE of the following –
- An ID Card (Your All Graduates ID card),
- A letter from your employer; or
- By completing an Eligibility Declaration Form
The COVID-19 vaccine is free for everyone in Australia. Vaccination providers cannot charge you for the COVID-19 vaccines or your appointment to receive the vaccine.
Should you wish to participate, we encourage you to peruse the links provided, complete the Vaccine Eligibility Checker Journey online, book your appointment and complete the forms prior your appointment.
