Multilingual helplines & inbound access

For DCJ divisions that operate helplines or public-facing telephone services, All Graduates can support trusted inbound language-access pathways that help multilingual callers reach the right service with an interpreter.

How this can work

  • dedicated direct-dial telephone numbers for a specific DCJ service
  • in-language answering points or multilingual navigation
  • identification of the caller’s language requirement
  • connection to an appropriately qualified interpreter
  • three-way connection to the relevant DCJ team, office or helpline
  • client-specific routing and operational instructions

Established example — Homes NSW

All Graduates already supports Homes NSW through dedicated telephone interpreting arrangements for staff and multilingual tenants / public callers, including operator-assisted three-way connection to relevant housing services.

For other DCJ helplines

All Graduates can work with the relevant division and the DCJ Language Services / contract management team to define the caller journey, routing rules, languages, access points and reporting requirements before implementation.

Important
Dedicated numbers, routing or in-language answering points should only be published after the relevant DCJ service configuration and approvals are complete.
